


The idea behind Champion deals heavily with their marketing ability in relation to their competitors. A company like Champion could never 'fight fire with fire' against sports apparel giants like Nike, Reebok, or Adidas. The idea, then, was to undercut the whole idea of sponsorships and endorsements, to revive the humbleness that used to exist seamlessly with the anonymity of being just another player.
